House-Sitting and Pet-Sitting in the San Francisco Bay Area

Dear readers, my partner Stephanie and I are looking for house-sitting and pet-sitting situations in the San Francisco Bay Area this winter, most specifically December, January, and February when the weather is most extreme in the Mount Shasta area where we live. We’ve done this a lot and love taking a break from the mountains to get some civilization and sunshine, and also to explore San Francisco hiking trails.

Please send the link to anyone you think would be a good fit for us.

Note that we’re open to other cool spots like the Sierra foothills, Mendocino county, etc. We just want relatively mild weather and interesting places to be and explore. We’d also consider great places in southern California and Arizona.

    Hey John and Stephanie – I’ll keep my eyes and ears open and let you know if I hear of anything. . .and promise you when you DO get settled in – however temporarily – you jot me a note and let me know so we can get together (and finally meet in real-time!) and take a fantastic hike in the East Bay Hills or Marin County somewhere special!
