New Reality Series: Are You Tougher Than a Boy Scout?

The Boy Scouts of America have recently announced a partnership with Original Productions and the National Geographic Channel to produce “Are You Tougher Than A Boy Scout”, a new series that pits teams of Boy Scouts against teams of adults in head-to-head challenges of strength, smarts, fortitude, speed, endurance, and community service.

For decades, The Boy Scouts of America have been teaching millions of youths the skills and discipline to be survivors in the most treacherous of scenarios. Now, for the first time in history, the Boy Scouts of America are inviting adults to join their inner ranks and compete against them in a series of survival, smarts, and skill-related challenges, based on the Scouts’ 100-year old handbook.

The series will be produced by Original Productions, the masterminds behind Deadliest Catch, Ax Men, and Storage Wars. Metal Flowers Media is managing the casting efforts, and a nationwide search is currently underway for both Boy Scouts and their adult opponents. If you know what it takes to survive in the wild, if you have memorized a library of knot ties, if you can tread water for hours on end, rock climb, repel, jump out of a plane – apply now!

Looking for adult males ages 35 to 55 who think they have what it takes to compete against highly trained, elite boy scouts, whose age belies their skill level. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and live in the state of California.
