Hey folks– catch this if you can! It’s the last lunar eclipse until 2014 and it’s visible from all of western North America. (More details here.)
It begins around 4:45 a.m. By 6:05 a.m. the moon will be fully eclipsed. Around sunrise it will still be fully eclipsed as it sets on the western horizon. Don’t miss it!

I watched for about two hours, and I saw several meteors, including one really bright one. For about one hour of that time I did silk reeling exercises, a form of chi gong from the Chen tai chi system.
Ahh damn, I missed another eclipse! Cool video about the moon though…
I set the alarm, but it was foggy over at our place 🙁 The kids were disappointed, but maybe 2014! Thanks for the heads-up, and for the great video.
