My new guidebook Day Hiking: Mount Shasta, Lassen & Trinity Alps Regions is now widely available throughout Northern California! You can buy it at many bookstores and outdoor stores, and at the usual online sources like Amazon.

This is my home territory, where I grew up and where I’ve hiked all my life. I’ve walked many of the book’s 125 trails a dozen times or more. I’m very happy to share some of the most beautiful territory in in the western United States. (More details of the book here on the blog.)

Northern California Bookstores

Barnes and Noble now has the book in stock, as do a many independent bookstores, with more ordering all the time.

Outdoor Stores

The biggie is REI, of course, and they have it in most of their Northern California stores. A number of other stores have also ordered it or are in the process of doing so.

Visitor Centers

Parks and ranger stations often have visitor centers that sell books. Several are ordering, but their process takes more time. I hope to be in most visitor centers by early summer.
