We hope you will come and experience the beauty of the Klamath Basin in winter, where hundreds of eagles and other raptors and literally thousands of ducks, geese, and swans take up residence. The Klamath Basin was highlighted on the Sunset Magazine list of \u201cFantastic Five Birding Destinations in the West.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We will offer a huge assortment of birding and nature-related activities for all ages and skill levels, from novice birder to lifelong birding enthusiast. In addition, nature photographers of all skill levels will be impressed by the rich diversity of wildlife present in the Klamath Basin during wintertime, as well as the depth, variety, and quality of photography-oriented workshops, field trips and hands-on instruction we offer.<\/p>\n<p>The Festival is headquartered at the Oregon Institute of Technology campus in Klamath Falls. The Festival program begins Friday morning and continues through Sunday afternoon. We will offer 19 field trips, 12 workshops, 7 mini-sessions, 3 feature presentations, 2 gourmet catered events and a banquet dinner.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Visit the <a title=\"Winter Wings Festival on Klamath Basin National Wildlife Refuge Complex\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winterwingsfest.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Winter Wings Festival<\/a> site for a complete schedule, a brochure, and all the registration details.
