Doin’ little publicity for 100 Classic Hikes in Northern California<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and 75 Hikes in California’s Mount Shasta and Lassen Volcanic National Park Regions<\/strong><\/em><\/a> this week.<\/p>\n

What: Authors Night at Sisson Museum in Mount Shasta. We’ll all give short talks and then sign\/sell our books.<\/p>\n

Where:<\/strong> Sisson Museum, #1 N. Old Stage Road, Mount Shasta. Take the central Mount Shasta exit, go west away from town, and then go straight into the museum parking lot just past the stop sign.<\/p>\n

When:<\/strong> Thursday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m. $5 donation requested; munchies provided. End around 9:30.<\/p>\n

Why:<\/strong> Have fun; meet new people; eat food.<\/p>\n

Tip:<\/strong> come early and walk around the adjoining fish hatchery. Speculate why there always seem to osprey around.<\/p>\n
