I did a fantastic hike to Little Bear Lake in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. It started with a steep 3000-foot climb on the trail to Big Bear Lake<\/a>, followed by a moderate 1-mile cross-country scramble over granite.<\/p>\n

I love this lake and I had it all to myself! I took a long swim<\/a> over to the other side and sunned on a granite slab before swimming back. I also checked out Wee Bear Lake just downstream.<\/p>\n
