The wife and I climbed to the top of Mt. Bradley Ridge last July 4 weekend -- and discovered not just a great view (it was hazy from the fires but the smoke wasn't too bad, considering) but a bizarre sort of fertility symbol built of stones. I thought it was a circular stone bench, then realized it had a long tail -- um, a lot like a sperm.

Truly strange. Even stranger: My baby will be three months old this July 5.
