		<description>I haven&#039;t seen any definitive studies about the percentages of people getting into the outdoors and how long they stay. It does seem logical that the economic crunch would turn people toward less expensive recreation.</description>

		<description>The weak economy is getting credit for a lot of things, but I wonder if there is not a larger shift going on, possibly due to demographics? There seems to be a growing trend towards more outdoor activities, both here and in Western Europe.</description>
